As believers, we will seek a lifestyle based on what the Bible teaches about our financial dealings. It speaks about two types of seed that we can sow as believers. They are the Word of God and finances. The Bible makes some extraordinary promises that those who live by what it says will know a much better quality of life. As you apply the word of God to your life, you will then know the blessing of God. Consequently, if we want prosperity, success and blessings in our finances then we must give into the work of God. There are simply no short cuts. If we are to know the blessings of God, we must follow the ways of God.
Have you heard of the 4 unknown heroes in the New Testament? Let’s look at the story in Luke 5, where a paralyzed man was able to receive divine healing and true salvation. All this was possible because of 4 people that were willing to put their lives out, so they could bring their paralyzed friend into the presence of Jesus. Their names never were mentioned in the Bible, but what they did has saved the soul of one person and brought many to greater faith in Christ Jesus.
In the genealogy of Jesus (Matthew 1), the names of only a few women (mothers) were written. Also, the names of Biblical characters such as Abraham and King David were never written. We believe, though, that the roles that Abraham’s and King David’s mothers played were not small. There are many other women in the Bible whose names were never written even though the events and testimonies of their lives were recorded. Some examples are: the widow in Zarephath, the Shunamite woman, the woman who experienced 12 years of bleeding but was healed by God, and many more.
The church cannot live without prayers, and the prayers of the righteous move the heart of God.
As our church is moving into many new territories in the ministry to influence the Seven Mountains , we will see more challenges as well as many new opportunities. Education, business, family, religion, entertainment, media, and government are the seven pillars of society which our local churches are penetrating, so as to fill them with godliness.
