The Leadership Conference is an annual Corporate Event of IFGF GISI, which is held in different regions of its ministry around the world. This year, the 2010 Asia Australia Leadership Conference was held in Bali. It was a great time of reunion, fellowship, and revelations from the Lord for all IFGF GISI pastors and leaders from Asia and Australia. In this year’s Leadership Conference, guest speakers from the Netherlands – Rev. Mattheus van der Steen, as well as from Indonesia – DR. I Wayan Mastra (GKPB Church) & DR. Gunarto (Islamology Lecturer at STT Abdiel Ungaran) were invited.

Besides new insights we received on ministry development areas such as education, business, youth, and evangelism, fun fellowship activities were also organized to help strengthen the ties between our pastors and leaders from this side of the world.

TESTIMONIES:

gunarto DR. Gunarto, STT Abdiel Lecturer & LC Guest Speaker: I was so happy and touched by the sincerity of the hearts of God’s servants here, serving in His field. And I was also very touched by the committee who has been serving well and wholeheartedly.

nany Mrs. Nany Widjaja, IFGF GISI WOV Director: The trip started with dropping in at Krisna, a place where we could find a large collection of Balinese souvenirs. Then we went shopping at Titiles, Sukowati, and ended up in Tanah Lot for a photo shoot. The most fun part of it all was going to the little stores along the streets. It wasn’t tiring, though, because the day’s program wasn’t too packed.

georgePnt. George Lim, ASEAN Regional Council Director: The recent LC at Bali is something totally different from any others I have been to. Firstly, the environment in Bali is so beautiful with its traditional settings. The unique thing about this conference which I enjoyed was the presentation of the Conference, where there were not so much long teaching and preaching sessions, but more forum style of question and answers which made the conference more lively and exciting. My final appreciation was that we were given a full day off from the conference, for R&R. It was a good break to have the tour in between the conference.

Mr. Mario Saputra, Sunday Service Manager of Satellite 1 at IFGF GISI Semarang: The togetherness we felt at the Golf Tournament was a lot of fun because we could get to know one another better. Plus, the golf course was great. We need to do this kind of tournaments more often in IFGF GISI.

Mr. Joseph Christable AP Kafiar, IFGF GISI Semarang: I’m impressed by the breakthroughs in IFGF GISI Palembang. The church is now not just pastoring its congregation, but also the city of Palembang. I am inspired to do what Pastor Robert Lie has done in Palembang.
