Happy New Year…!

As I closed the year 2009, a prophetic direction from the Lord was read from Joshua 1:1-4.

After the death of Moses the servant of the LORD, the LORD said to Joshua son of Nun, Moses' aide: "Moses my servant is dead. Now then, you and all these people, get ready to cross the Jordan River into the land I am about to give to them—to the Israelites. I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses. Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the great river, the Euphrates—all the Hittite country—to the Great Sea on the west.

The Lord wanted to bring the Israelites across the Jordan River into the Land of Canaan. This land, as the Lord had promised the forefathers of the generation that was now with Joshua, was going to be given to the nation of Israel. What the Israelites had to do was cross over the river and conquer the land. But the forefathers failed, except for Caleb and Joshua. They were now to be the leaders, who succeeded Moses, of this new generation in bringing the people of Israel into the Promised Land. It was possible because of their unceasing faith in God.

Likewise, entering 2010, we need to carry the spirit of Caleb and Joshua. First, must live with no fear. I’ve heard people say that fear is an acronym for False Evidence Appearing Real. Fear is a lie. The Bible says that fear is a spirit that plays on our emotions and holds us back. But the good news is God has promised to bless and protect us wherever we go (Psalm 23:6). So today, choose to believe God's Word so that you can overcome fear and move forward into greater things He has prepared for you in 2010!

In 2010, we can have new hopes and new expectations. Let’s determine to reach a higher level in our relationships, our character, our attitude, our work, and our ministry. Go strong!

God bless you all.
