Shalom to all of you workers in His field ....

In the genealogy of Jesus (Matthew 1), the names of only a few women (mothers) were written. Also, the names of Biblical characters such as Abraham and King David were never written. We believe, though, that the roles that Abraham’s and King David’s mothers played were not small. There are many other women in the Bible whose names were never written even though the events and testimonies of their lives were recorded. Some examples are: the widow in Zarephath, the Shunamite woman, the woman who experienced 12 years of bleeding but was healed by God, and many more.

Whether or not their names were written, and whether or not they were known, women are wonderfully extraordinary. In them lies great strength. God designed women in special ways and for a special purpose as well. Women were not designed merely to become men’s supporter, but also their motivator. In addition, women were made to create a comfortable ambience at home, just as described in Proverbs 31. And there are many more roles of a woman. God has even used women to win souls. But sometimes, things become difficult, and some women feel uncertain. Disappointments can come and some women can be left at a loss.

But women of God, your presence is long awaited! Your role is very important! And God has purposed this! Rahab, in Joshua 2, who has a dark past, was used by God to usher in a godly offspring. No matter what your past is like, your education, or your conditions today, God wants to use you to create big things for Him. Your prayers, your wise and positive words, your care to those that need it, your smile to the weary, your heart that cries for souls, they all will bring great impacts.

Someone once asked me: “How do I overcome all of my problems? I can’t think of others because I myself am in a confusion.” Perhaps it is the question of many women.

But Isaiah 48:18 writes: “If you had listened all along to what I told you, your life would have flowed full like a river, blessings rolling in like waves from the sea.” The main issue here is not our “problem” but how “our relationship is with God”. If today, we want to come back to a sweet relationship with Him and realize that God has invested something great in us, then surely we will become His tool, His living testimony. So let’s build intimacy with God.

God bless you and may you be fruitful in Him!
